What is Kosher Japanese Wagyu?

Where the art of Wagyu meets the discipline of Kashrut.

Japanese Wagyu is the most prized beef in the world. Yet for those who keep kosher, authentic Japanese Wagyu has long been out of reach — until now. KosherFoodsJapan is building the first dedicated bridge between Japanese Wagyu and the kosher table: raised in Japan with uncompromising care, prepared under kosher supervision, and exported to the United States with full documentation and cold-chain logistics.

A Category of One

A World First, in the Making

Authentic Japanese Wagyu is already among the rarest beef on earth. Kosher Japanese Wagyu — raised in Japan with uncompromising care and prepared under continuous kosher supervision — has effectively never been available to the American kosher market at scale. KosherFoodsJapan is building exactly that: a singular category, with internationally recognized kosher certification being pursued, and supply released in strictly limited quantities. For importers, distributors, and restaurants, it is a rare chance to own a truly one-of-a-kind premium offering from the very beginning.

The Kosher Process

Kosher Japanese Wagyu for the U.S. Market

Our kosher program is designed so that each animal is handled under the continuous watch of a certifying rabbinical authority — from the field to the final vacuum seal and export.

01

Shechita

Ritual Slaughter

Performed by a trained shochet with a flawless blade, ensuring an instantaneous, humane process under Jewish law.

02

Bedika

Inspection

Lungs and organs are examined for any defect. Only animals that meet the required inspection standards qualify under the strictest kosher grade.

03

Nikkur

Deveining

Forbidden fats, veins and the sciatic nerve are meticulously removed by specialists trained in kosher butchery.

04

Melichah

Koshering

Cuts are soaked and salted to draw out blood, completing the koshering required before the meat may be sold.

05

Hashgacha

Certification

A recognized kosher authority verifies every stage and provides certification documentation for each lot.

06

Cold Chain

Sealed Export

Vacuum-sealed, temperature-controlled and tracked door-to-door for delivery into the United States.
